Job Description

24 Seven Cooling is looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who has 5+ years’ experience in the commercial air conditioning and refrigeration industry to join its team.

We are a busy service and maintenance contractor, dealing in the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Our customers are within the retail, hospital and food processing sectors.

Therefore, it is essential that the candidate has a solid knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and installations.

This would be the perfect opportunity for an experienced refrigeration/air conditioning engineer or install engineer to take the next step in their career.

The ideal individual will have exceptional organisational skills; have the confidence to make decisions; be self-motivated and have good people skills. Good computer skills are a must.

The job will entail being trained to quote for new refrigeration/air conditioning installations, be it whole retail sites or individual pieces of equipment.

You will be responsible for the quotation from cradle to grave.

You will work closely with our present project manager and attend site to survey the install site/equipment.

You will be shown how to produce pipework schematics and shop floor diagrams.

You will be shown how to use client supplied shop floor drawings and design a bespoke refrigeration system specific to that site and its needs.

You will help produce the quotation having sourced equipment specific to the site and submit it to the relevant parties. Once the go ahead is received, you will deal with all logistics of the install - from getting equipment to site to arranging for the install contractors to be there to complete the works.

You will also be responsible for ensuring health and safety guidelines are adhered to on site.

This is a challenging and exciting job role that will offer variety and job satisfaction.

Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer Vacancy

24 Seven Cooling Ltd is looking for experienced refrigeration engineers in Oxford, Gloucester and the Midlands.

We are a busy service and maintenance contractor, dealing in the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Our customers are within the retail, hospital and food processing sectors.

Engineers are required to attend service calls at customer sites and provide a reactive repair service for the various types of cooling equipment we cover e.g. integral refrigeration, packs, remote refrigeration, condensers, water chillers and split air conditioning systems. They are also required to complete routine preventative maintenance.

Our ideal candidate will have NVQ level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or extensive industry experience and FGAS category 1 certification.  We would also expect a full UK driving licence.

Our engineers are supplied with a fully stocked company vehicle with tools, PPE, spare parts and smart phone, and are paid from door to door.

There is a standby rota that all engineers are part of, which enables 24 Seven Cooling to offer a 24-hour emergency breakdown service.

Basic hours are 08.30am – 17.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime as and when required. Engineers are paid overtime rates at time and half and double time dependant.

The basic wage rate is £14.60 per hour, £30,368.00 per annum (OTE & standby not included).
